Courtney Kruger

Practice Manager
Trainee Behaviour Support Practitioner

Courtney Kruger is the Practice Manager and a Trainee Behaviour Support Practitioner here at Concepts Psychology. She started as our receptionist and is always at hand to assist where she can. Whether that be with scheduling, office administration or communicating with representatives from the numerous organisations and schools we work with across the greater Sydney area.

Courtney joined the team here at Concepts Psychology in 2021 after returning to Australia from a 5-year stint in Glasgow, Scotland. It was in the UK where she juggled being a mum, working at home as a receptionist during the day and then as a carer for the elderly at night. This fast paced experience taught her crucial time management skills which have enabled her to be a great fit for Office Manager.

Her responsibilities also include invoicing, email management, account keeping, diary management and relationship building. Passionate about equality, social justice and supporting those in need, she wanted to be part of a team which supports others to reach their full potential and live their best life. She enjoys meeting members of the local community in her role and working within a team that strive to empower others.

Outside of work she loves spending her spare time with family and friends either by brunching, shopping, or exploring the great outdoors.

Claire Pointing

Receptionist
Claire Pointing is the friendly voice you hear when you call Concepts Psychology. She is a 3rd-year student at Western Sydney studying public health with a special interest in mental health policy.

Claire was a supervisor for several years as a barista which saw her excel in areas such as customer service, building client relationships, being organised and time management skills, which saw her step into the reception role with confidence and ease.

Her responsibilities include diary management, email management, invoicing, and building relationships with parents and schools. She is the first point of call when you book your assessment and counselling appointments. Passionate about mental health, Claire would like to work in a role that would allow her to make an impact where she can educate others on mental health and reduce the stigma around it.

Outside work, she loves a good Sunday morning breakfast, camping and going on road trips where she can switch off for the weekend and enjoy the good life.
