Natalie Kleindyk

Natalie Kleindyk is a Company Director and psychologist at Concepts Psychology. She has a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), a Graduate Diploma of Science (Psychology) and is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society.

Natalie has over 20 years’ experience in the counselling and assessment of children, young people and adults. She conducts assessments at our office and offsite locations for developmental and diagnostic disorders, including autism spectrum disorders. Natalie has also worked extensively in the area of trauma for children in Out of Home Care. She provides accurate assessments and practical behavioural support services to young people and their carers.

Originally drawn to psychology by an interest in maintaining positive mental health, Natalie enjoys identifying what underlies or motivates people’s behaviour. She finds working with clients across the lifespan and assisting families to achieve positive outcomes rewarding.

Away from work, Natalie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors and reading.

Tyrone Hill

Tyrone Hill runs Concepts Psychology together with Natalie Kleindyk. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), a Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology and a Master of Psychology (Educational & Developmental) from Western Sydney University. He is also a Member of the Australian Psychological Society.

Although Tyrone was always interested in psychology, his journey began at age 23 when he was given a chance to change careers. Tyrone gained valuable experience working in the private hospital sector with drug and alcohol dependant patients and as a high school counsellor. He joined Concepts Psychology in 2009 as a provisional psychologist and obtained registration in 2011. Five years later in 2014, he became a Director of Concepts Psychology.

Tyrone conducts psychological assessments and specialises in diagnosing ADHD, autism, intellectual disabilities and specific learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia).

A gifted problem solver, Tyrone is passionate about helping children with complex presentations. The best part of his job is helping people and he finds his work very rewarding. Outside of the clinic, you will find Tyrone cooking up a storm for his family and loved ones.

Rachel Dang

Psychologist | General Registration
Rachel Dang is a registered psychologist passionate about mental health’s vital role in overall wellbeing. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) and a Master of Professional Psychology from Western Sydney University. Rachel offers assessments and counselling to Concepts Psychology’s clients across their lifespan. She loves being able to provide a safe place for clients to communicate their experiences without fear of judgement.

Before joining the team, Rachel completed a placement at Macarthur Children’s Developmental Clinic working in a transdisciplinary setting with children diagnosed with autism. She also has experience with the research side of psychology. She volunteered as a research intern in 2019 on the Watch Me Grow for Real Project at Liverpool Hospital.

Rachel is a certified facilitator of the Westmead Feelings Program.

In her spare time, you will find Rachel sampling new foods, hitting up walking trails, exploring out of the way places and spending time with friends and family.

Fionna Hamilton

Psychologist | Provisional Registration
Specialising in functional family therapy, Fionna Hamilton studied a Bachelor of Psychology from Wollongong University and Monash University (Honours).

At Concepts Psychology, Fionna applies psychological and therapeutic practices for clients who demonstrate challenges across different areas of mental health. Fionna is a certified facilitator of the Westmead Feelings Program for neurodiverse children.

Fionna decided to pursue psychology because she found a strong connection to encouraging growth and development in all areas of mental health. She enjoys engaging with clients in a safe and positive environment to help them achieve their goals.

On the weekend Fionna enjoys heading into nature to go camping.

Mrunal Mahabaleshwarkar

Psychologist | Provisional Registration
Passionate about supporting the emotional, behavioural and social needs of children, Mrunal Mahabaleshwarkar is one of Concepts Psychology’s provisional psychologists. She holds a Bachelor of Science Psychology, a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and Master of Professional Psychology.

Working with clients in Out of Home Care, she provides therapeutic support in a counselling-based environment. Mrunal is a certified facilitator of the Westmead Feelings Program which aims to improve the lives of children on the autism spectrum. She also administers a range of psychometric assessments to clients across their lifespan.

Mrunal chose psychology as she wanted to help provide children with a better future, supporting them so they can flourish. She says forming connections with children and helping them is the most rewarding part of her job.

Outside of work, she loves cooking and baking, rolling up her sleeves for some home renovations and interior design and taking part in activities that give her an adrenalin rush.

Sandra Deeb

Psychologist | Provisional Registration
Sandra completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) at the University of South Australia and Master of Professional Psychology at Western Sydney University. Before joining Concepts Psychology, Sandra completed a placement at the Infant Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (ICAMHS) and Learning Links.

At Concepts Psychology, Sandra conducts psychological assessments for clients across the lifespan, counselling and services for Out of Home Care clients. She is also a certified facilitator of the Westmead Feelings Program.

Sandra chose psychology as she enjoys helping her clients understand what is going on and helping them become the best version of themselves. They provide her with the tools to decipher what issues exist, which leads to an effective treatment plan.

Outside of work, Sandra can be spotted going to the beach or travelling. She also loves spending time with her friends, family, husband and their toy cavoodle, Leo.

Claire Cox

Psychologist | Provisional Registration
Claire is provisional psychologist that is passionate about working with young people. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Psychology degree from the University of Western Australia.

Claire has previously worked as a rehab consultant where she developed experience with a diverse range of clients recovering form psychological injuries at work. Claire also developed a collective of student carers at the University of Western Australia, enabling students who provided caregiving at home to have a support network of their peers.

Claire’s role at Concepts Psychology includes working with young people in Out of Home Care and conducting a range of psychometric and diagnostic assessments. Claire is also completing her certification to become a facilitator of the Westmead Feelings Program.

Claire is a passionate advocate for children and their wellbeing and enjoys partnering with parents and carers to assist them in their needs. Claire is driven by the connections she makes with her clients, and by witnessing their growth and development. Claire has expertise in crisis support and safety planning and she is experienced in delivering motivational interviewing.

Outside of work, Claire loves going on bush walks, spending time with her family and playing arcade games!

Alexandra Lowry

Psychologist | Provisional Registration
Passionate about supporting individuals’ emotional wellbeing to live a purposeful and fulfilling life, Alexandra Lowry is one of Concepts Psychology’s Provisional Psychologists. She holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Wollongong.  Alexandra chose psychology to create strong therapeutic relationships with clients to encourage their personal growth.

Working with clients in Out of Home Care, she provides therapeutic support in a counselling-based environment. Alexandra also administers a range of psychometric assessments to clients and is completing her certification to become a facilitator of the Westmead Feelings Program.

Alexandra has completed specialised training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and has worked with individuals experiencing various work-related injuries and psychological disorders and providing them with support during their return to work.

Outside of work you will find Alexandra practicing yoga, exploring new places and being creative through pottery.

Tillie Scholten

Psychologist | Provisional Registration
Tillie is a Provisional Psychologist that is passionate about helping people to find a love of learning that extends beyond school and helps them continually grow. She holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science and a Masters of Secondary Teaching from University of South Australia and Post Graduate Diploma of Psychology from Charles Sturt University.

Tillie has five years experience working at several Adelaide primary schools supporting children with complex needs such as autism, specific learning disorders and emotional needs whilst designing and implementing play learning programs. Additionally, Tillie has specialised training in crisis intervention and emerging psychosis in young people experiencing acute distress.

Tillie’s role at Concepts Psychology includes working with young people in Out of Home Care and conducting psychological assessments. She specialises in diagnosing ADHD, autism, intellectual disabilities and specific learning disorders (dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia).

Outside of work, Tillie enjoys trying new things, spending time with friends, practising yoga and exploring new beaches.

Liam Maher

Psychologist | Provisional Registration
Liam has completed a Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Honours in Psychology) at the University of Sydney. Before starting at Concepts Liam gained 4 years experience working in administration for a clinic specialising in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy. Liam’s role at Concepts involves providing therapeutic support for young people in Out of Home Care and administering psychometric assessments to clients at the Concepts office and schools in the Sydney metropolitan area.

Liam is passionate about mental health and the discovery of personal meaning. Being a therapist appeals to Liam because he has the chance to help clients find a strong sense of purpose in their lives. Liam thrives on the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life. The chance to adjust a child’s life trajectory for the better is particularly motivating to Liam because of the powerful cascade of positive experiences that they might have throughout the rest of their life.

Outside of work you will find Liam playing basketball, running along the harbour, swimming, gaming, and playing tabletop games with friends. He also can’t wait to ski again! 

Courtney Kruger

Office Manager
Courtney Kruger is the Office Manager here at Concepts Psychology. She started as our receptionist and is always at hand to assist where she can. Whether that be with scheduling, office administration or communicating with representatives from the numerous organisations and schools we work with across the greater Sydney area.

Courtney joined the team here at Concepts Psychology in 2021 after returning to Australia from a 5-year stint in Glasgow, Scotland. It was in the UK where she juggled being a mum, working at home as a receptionist during the day and then as a carer for the elderly at night. This fast paced experience taught her crucial time management skills which have enabled her to be a great fit for Office Manager.

Her responsibilities also include invoicing, email management, account keeping, diary management and relationship building. Passionate about equality, social justice and supporting those in need, she wanted to be part of a team which supports others to reach their full potential and live their best life. She enjoys meeting members of the local community in her role and working within a team that strive to empower others.

Outside of work she loves spending her spare time with family and friends either by brunching, shopping, or exploring the great outdoors.
