Passionate about supporting the emotional, behavioural and social needs of children, Mrunal Mahabaleshwarkar is one of Concepts Psychology’s provisional psychologists. She holds a Bachelor of Science Psychology, a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and Master of Professional Psychology.
Working with clients in Out of Home Care, she provides therapeutic support in a counselling-based environment. Mrunal is currently training to be involved in Westmead’s Feelings Program which aims to improve the lives of children on the autism spectrum. She also administers a range of psychometric assessments to clients across their lifespan.
Mrunal chose psychology as she wanted to help provide children with a better future, supporting them so they can flourish. She says forming connections with children and helping them is the most rewarding part of her job. Outside of work, she loves cooking and baking, rolling up her sleeves for some home renovations and interior design and taking part in activities that give her an adrenalin rush.
